Provence

Aaaa, aaaa , Provence, yes. I've been in Provence, France. It is a very beautiful natural place, with little changes by human hand. So few that in many parts of those many villages you can't find a decent sidewalk to enjoy a nice walk, you just have to watch out not to be run by formula one drivers of France.

But I will share some nice pictures with you about what can be seen around Castellane.

Castellane , which dates back to the 16th century, is located at the crossroads of Route Napoleon and the Upper Verdon road. It is tucked down in the throat of the steep Grand Canyon du Verdon and is mostly invisible from distance as you approach it except when you are on the tall rock which has a stone chapel build on it around 1700. The chapel is called Notre Dame du Rock.
             Please enjoy some smartphone pictures.
