14.4 minutes is 1% of a day

We could have a clock that measures time in [%d] instead of [h]. One 1%d would feel closely to a quarter hour. I just think the idea is interesting and awesome. Even though translation in the old system is a little bit complicated but not by much. One day has:24×60 min = 1440 min.1440 min divided by 100 is 14.4 min.1%d = 14.4min = 14 min 24 sec .5%d would be closely to an hour.5*1%d = 14.4 min * 5 = 72 minA normal workers day looks like this:8:00 wake up (30%d) 9:00 work (35%d) 12:30 lunch (55%) 13:30 work (60%d) 17:00 traffic (70%d) 18:00 dinner (75%d) 20:00 tv (85%d) 22:00 bed (90%d)I rounded the %d a little bit but thats ruthly how a day would look like with the %d instead of hours and minutes.Clocks would look total badass and you could have actual sun time markings for winter summer. So you would know when its gonna be dark.Instead of seconds we could use the 100 base again. 21 min for an oven pizza would be 1.50 %d. Also we could finally use a microwave where 1:00 > 0:90.It would be way easier to learn and all things now can easily be put into perspektive relative to a day. via /r/woahdude http://ift.tt/1Xu0xGg
