Well I would have laughed too.

If the camera's optical axis is lined up *Exactly* with Earth's axis of rotation, all you need to do to stabilize the footage is spin the frame backwards at 0.0007 rpm (1 revolution per day)!

so after I bought this house I was informed my neighbors do it big for Christmas. I spent alot of money already buying a new tree and all the decorations for the inside, so I talked to my neighbor and we came up with the perfect solution. I promise I'm not really a grinch!!
